Please read these Terms of Service carefully before utilizing the RunRestro cloud restaurant POS platform, mobile application, or connected services. They govern your commercial subscription and software usage rights.

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Merchant”, “User”, “you”, or “your”) and RunRestro (“RunRestro”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the RunRestro website (https://runrestro.com), the RunRestro - Restaurant POS & Management mobile application available on the Google Play Store, and all affiliated cloud software tools and APIs (collectively, the “Platform” or “Service”).
By creating an account, downloading or installing the mobile application, subscribing to a plan, or operating the platform at your business, you confirm that:
- You possess the legal authority to bind the restaurant, cafe, or business entity on whose behalf you are acting;
- You are at least 18 years of age; and
- You agree to comply with all provisions set forth in these Terms and our incorporated Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access, download, or use the Service.
2. Description of Services
RunRestro provides an all-in-one software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform tailored for food and beverage operators, restaurants, bars, quick-service eateries (QSR), cloud kitchens, and food trucks. Key modules include:
3. Account Registration & Staff Roles
To use the Platform, you must register a master restaurant merchant account. You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete commercial information during registration.
You are solely responsible for creating and regulating staff login sub-accounts (e.g., Cashier, Captain, Manager). You must safeguard your administrative passwords and are liable for all actions conducted under your account credentials, whether authorized or unauthorized.
You agree to immediately notify RunRestro at contact@runrestro.com upon discovering any unauthorized login or security breach affecting your account.
4. License Grant & Acceptable Use Policy
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, RunRestro grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the application and web dashboard solely for your internal food-service business operations.
You shall not, and shall not permit any employee or third party to:
- Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code of the mobile app or backend APIs;
- Resell, sublicense, lease, or distribute the platform as a competing white-label POS service without explicit written consent;
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the integrity or performance of cloud servers, databases, or network connections;
- Input fraudulent billing records, fake tax returns, or unlawful items in violation of applicable laws;
- Scrape, spider, or use automated data extraction bots on RunRestro web interfaces.
5. Mobile App & Google Play Store Disclaimers
For users who download the RunRestro - Restaurant POS & Management mobile app from the Google Play Store:
The mobile application is provided for operational POS terminal execution. It does not offer in-app digital purchases or process digital payment card transactions inside the application.
These Terms are entered into solely between you and RunRestro, and not with Google LLC. Google is not responsible for the RunRestro application, its content, maintenance, support services, or warranty claims.
6. Merchant Data & Content Ownership
You grant RunRestro a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, replicate, and display your merchant data solely to the extent necessary to provide, optimize, and maintain the POS software services for your restaurant.
7. AI Menu Digitizer & Automated Tools Disclaimer
RunRestro provides AI-assisted menu digitization tools that allow you to photograph printed or handwritten menus and extract text, prices, and categories into your catalog.
While our AI models strive for high optical character recognition accuracy, automated extraction may occasionally misread handwritten text, symbols, or numeric values. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all digitized menu item names, descriptions, allergens, and retail prices before using them for customer billing. RunRestro is not liable for incorrect bills resulting from unverified AI extractions.
8. Hardware & Bluetooth Thermal Printers
RunRestro is designed to run on standard commercial Android devices and interface with standard 58mm and 80mm ESC/POS wireless Bluetooth and network thermal printers.
- Third-Party Hardware: Printers, cash drawers, barcode scanners, and mobile devices are third-party hardware products manufactured by independent vendors.
- Hardware Disclaimers: RunRestro does not warrant that all third-party printer models will be compatible. RunRestro is not liable for hardware print failures resulting from dead printer batteries, paper jams, Bluetooth range limits, or manufacturer firmware defects.
9. Service Availability, Uptime & Offline Resiliency
We strive to maintain a 99.9% uptime for our cloud servers. However, cloud access may occasionally be interrupted for emergency maintenance, software upgrades, or unforeseen server outages.
10. Subscriptions & Commercial Invoicing
RunRestro offers various subscription tiers (including Free, Pro, and Enterprise options as detailed on our Plans page).
11. RunRestro Intellectual Property Rights
The RunRestro platform, including its user interface design, logos, brand assets, source code, visual design, database architectures, algorithms, and documentation, are the exclusive intellectual property of RunRestro and protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in RunRestro trademarks, trade names, or proprietary graphics.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Please read this section carefully as it limits our legal liability.
“As-Is” Provision: The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular commercial purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Damages: In no event shall RunRestro, its directors, developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, restaurant business interruption, lost customer orders, spoilage of food inventory, or loss of business reputation.
Aggregate Cap: To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, RunRestro’s total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to RunRestro during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RunRestro, its affiliates, officers, and employees from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or legal costs arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) any unlawful menu items, fraudulent tax reporting, or health/safety violations associated with your food establishment; or (c) your violation of any third-party intellectual property or privacy right.
14. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate your account access if: (a) you fail to pay applicable subscription fees; (b) you violate the Acceptable Use Policy; or (c) required by legal authorities.
Upon termination, you may request export of your restaurant catalog and sales data within thirty (30) days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
